"HELL NO"
i am not educated in the area of politics or war to have a valid reason to support any cause. Upon reading history I don't see that anything good has come of it. I'm sure the issue is more complicated than the questions that my simple uneducated mind can come up with, but I wonder why you would make war, to achieve peace? It seems to me nothing but contradictory. War doesn't end within the period that it lasts. There are post-war consequences too... the perceived need for war is created by the exact people that claim to want peace. I wouldn't be an asset to any war, |

Im sorry everybody seems to have me all wrong...
I DONT want a war to happen to acheive peace, but i do think it will happen, Mr Bush seems set on starting a war even though he has no proof. The UN mission( to my knowledge) did not find much of anything that would consititute war. Yet Bush (not all americans) still says that Iraq is doing something terribly wrong and is looking for any and all reasons to start WW3. Im not saying saddam is a good man in any way either, if there is another option to war by all means we should take it, and i dont see why we dont. I can only speculate why Bush wants war: for one he wants control over the iraqi oil, just like the states took control of the kuwaiti oil after the last gulf war. And another because War is good for the short term economy in the US.(which isnt so hot right now) Tony Blair wants war because his approval rating is down, and no public elections can take place while the country is in a state of war... If ww3 were to come i would fight to stop it that is all i was trying to say Please dont think that i am pro war, if you knew me you would know im the least confrontational person in the world... |

and who ever said war is good for the short term economy in this case is wrong. as it stands america has enough material and oil to wage war against iraq without having to produce more weapons/material. also why do you think the american economy is in a recession while the canadian economy is growing at a rate close to 4% a year? many attribute it to the uncertainty of war with iraq. these two point suggest to me that this "impending" war may not be based on purely economic reasons. only a long term war of attrition like WW2 or WW1 has any really benefit to the economy, a war with iraq would be over in a matter of weeks Last edited by SEAN!; Feb 04, 03 at 12:07 PM. |

I'd just go start a hippie colony way up in northern BC. No one is gonna find you way up in the BC mountains they go way too far.
Get yourself a little valley somewhere, grow some crops, raise some livestock and forget about the rest of the STUPID GREEDY IGNORANT people who inheret this planet. |
