direction ppl walk in? *stuff that goes through my mind*

okay you know how in america when you drive you keep to the right and pass on the left....and its backwards in some international places (because of the right side steering wheel and swapped lanes)?

i went grocery shopping yesterday and i reliezed i was automatically walking on the right side of the aisle.. and ppl who were walking in the opposite direction was on the left side. do they walk on the left side in international places?

if i ever go to hongkong or something im gonna be so confused...

dont even get me started on checking for cars before crossing a street and looking to the left side before the right....its such a natural thing.. i dont think i can master the right head turn before the left.

*this is the lil stuff that goes through my head on a day to day basis...sad eh?*

yes. in england it was the opposite way. on the escalators from the subway, you stood on the left and passed on the right... and they weren't too happy if you didn't!

and written on the ground at most intersections on london it said 'look right!' which was a helpful little reminder, being I'd normally would look left, walk out into an intersection an die.

This is such a FunFun post. Those that drive or with any sense of direction will naturally walk on the right side of an isle in the grocery store or even on the sidewalk/crosswalk.

Since I have personally travelled no where (yes I know that sucks), I can't honestly answer how others walk in different cities such as the UK.

i woke my mom up last night to ask her this and she just rolled her eyes at me. she said its more natural to follow the flow of ppl... especially in BUSY cities like hongkong.

shorerider..maybe i'll step outta the box and experience it!!

i REALLY wanna see the whole toilet water spinning in the other direction thing. must see it with my own chiney eyes. i was SO facinated after watching that episode on the simpsons. my sis and i went to the washroom right away. it was really funny.

not to start an argument but the esacalators to the tube you always stood to the right, there were signs saying so, i remember cuz they were always funny lil signs. ones with kids and big bags and angry kids on crowded escalators. saying its 'not polite' to stand left if your not passing. hehe l love england, the accent is the coolest

it depends on the designer's thought...it's pretty much up to them...it depends if there are more than one models on the runway...if it's a single runway where one model goes at a time...it's the middle the whole way...but if they are sharing it would most likely be enter on right/ middle and exit on left/middle....if you know what i mean??????
....but if the designer wanted them to crawl, skip, or fly....they would
:hehe:

it would be funny though to see like a canadian model go to europe and do the whole thing opposite and walk into everyone...fuck that would suck
