once you grad it will be fun for all og the summer then in sept your gonna wish you could go back trust me i have been out of school for 2 years and high school was the best time ever........and it wasn't the school i miss its the friends and the activities that went along with it............you lose so much when you go away

i dont think any of you can speak of the whole grad population. grad is completely over rated..and too much $ is spent on it.. im budgeting myself on my dress/ grad night and im gonna do most of the makeup/girlie stuff myself. i dont deserve to be put in a freakin $400 dress.

highschool was fun..but there are times when you just have to move on. im excited for college, because im actually gonna study things i want and actually be interested in it. pretty exciting. its a differen't stage of life.

And grad is overrated. It's so stupid, it's out to cost everyone sooooo much money for one night. Waste of money really.

WERD, grad is overrated. I don't understand the people who go and spend like $600 on a dress, when they are never going to wear it again. My mom is making mine, it will look just as good as any of the others, and I only spent $80. But I'm lucky with a mom who can sew.

Exactly, I'm spending a little on the dress.. nothing to special. And for shoes, buying a new pair of skateshoes. More comfy plus I'll be able to wear them again. (and with a long dress like I'm getting you won't really see em anyways)

Guys are lucky. They can buy a suit and they'll more than likely have another chance to use it.

I couldn't afford the dress I wanted cuz it was like $450 but then my mom surprised me and bought it for me for christmas, with another dress I liked from the same store! So now I have two grad dresses, I don't know when I'm ever gonna wear the second one though.

yah welll dresses are expensive ! i am wearing the dress i wore for my moms wedding becuz i was a bridesmaid and i picked it out so that i would like to wear it for grad to! soo yah i will get to wear it a second time ! its a awesome dress anyways ! I love it , and i just bought some cheap shoes from payless shoes and they are nice enough ! anyways yah ...grad is over rated and overly expensive ..but who gives a shit ....your gradding thats all that matters i think ! its an important thing in your life to graduate high school ! anyways yah I just cant wait its gunna be tha shiet :P

I just cant wait to go to mexico! and get hella tanned...im gunna go down for 2 weeks with some friends and stay at my aunts place down there and still party with all the grads who are paying like 1100 to go down there for a week...but we are only gunna pay for the flight and we get somewhere to stay for free ! its gunna soo rock.. im sooo excited and i just cant hide it ...hehe im about to lose control and i think i like it !!! LOL im nutty

Pretty much all the guys in my grad class rented their tuxes! I though that's what all guys did. Doesn't a stylin suit/tux cost more than a prom dress to buy?

My mom paid thru the nose for my prom dress, I got mine specially made by a seamstress at this place called White Orchid I think it was. It is sooo pretty. :kimmie: I wish I had somewhere to wear it again.

the only good thing about graduating is not having to ever go back to ur highschool ever again... i dont miss it at all! i mean, maybe if you LIKE that highschool-ishly fake attitude that you get from most of the kids, then you'd probably miss it
