Psych @ UBC

I was just wondering if any of you have taken Psych 100 at UBC with Prof. Kevin Hamilton. I need to take Psych 100 over the summer, and I'm thinking about applying to UBC as a visiting student. I only want to take the course @ home if the prof is decent and the course won't put me through hell. It spans over almost 3 months but it's worth 6 credits. If the prof sucks, I'm better off just doing the 3-credit course at McGill cause it'll only take a month out of my summer break.

If anyone has taken this course, let me know. Thanks! :)

I've taken it. It is a breeze...Of course I took it with a different prof but it should all be the same material...Hope you like multiple choice questions....

word..plus theres usually alot of stupid fly girls in pysch

its sooo easy

jsut do the study guide on the cd you get and youll be fine

you dont even have to go to the class

It's pretty easy to pass, but it's hard to get a good mark. The psych department like to keep the class average between 63-66%.

Yeah, I'm definitely not aiming to just pass. I didn't take the course this year cause I ended up taking a bit of everything to see what I wanted to go into. I don't need Psych 100 to take any of the core courses, but I need it as a pre-req for a lot of the psych electives that I want to take next year.

Has anyone had Kevin Hamilton for a prof though? The reason why I ask is because from my experience, the prof makes the course. Everyone has told me that the prof at McGill that teaches Psych 100 drags you through hell and back and then some.
