Gay-straight alliences
Danyelle and I along with 2 other friends created a GSA in november of last year and I'm just so happy how well it's going! We have about 30 members which is more then we ever hoped for. We also didn't expect nearly the # of boys we have to join. (Especaily the # of straight boys.)
The 4 of us who created it are the student leaders, (this just means we plan meetings and activities,) and we have this whole month planned out already. I'm just so excited thatwe haven't had any protest from the parents or community. I'll shut up now.

There was an attempt at gay/lesbian clubs at my school once. Not long after the idea was proposed a bunch of old ladies showed up at my school, with signs, and started yelling at us all after school that homosexuality was wrong. =\ One started talking to me about it and what not, saying that it was wrong, and sick and it'll turn other students gay or something? Anyways, I told her to fuck off and then walked away.
Be happy you don't have protests about it, they're annoying.

protesters can be sooo evil.... but protesting for a good cause can be quite fun!!!
