Drowned out by the rain
The man upstairs Wept all night From swollen storm clouds Heaven's tears illuminated by the street lamp overhead his eyes fixed on shadows leaning into each other the aftermath of the day's events dwarf skies of blue, windows and bare branches against the seemingly innocent, yet oddly malevolent slope of the white stairs |

Drowned out by the rain
The man upstairs Wept all night From swollen storm clouds Heaven's tears illuminated by the street lamp overhead Life's grasp keeps time frozen Leaning into deaths first frost A chill creeps over and crystlizes the stained glass blue windows and bare branches break the pallid silence. With these last moment i follow the white stairs~ |
