i wrote this back in high school....but i thought id share it with u guys... hope u guys like it...


Life


The sinless infant lay in the cradling cot,
needed unconditional love and care.
With a rapid blink of the eligible eye,
the pure babe turned into the accustomed adolescent.

The senseless youth hung around with a cigarette stuck in his mouth,
while his lungs screamed and yelped for help.
Gradually the profound gullies started to appear on his barbarous brow,
the image in the mirror was no longer recognized.

The same antique rested in the hallowed hall,
praying and thanking God for his immortal life.
But without realizing the raging reality,
his limited existence will soon seize.
