It's so hard to lose someone.

I thought of a poem, I just wrote it, it's for anyone that's ever lost someone.

How could I not have noticed,
If only I had known,
That behind that worn out smile,
Was emotions shattered and thrown,
I remember those nights,
That sunny afternoon,
Sitting on my couch,
Watching kiddy cartoons,
I’ll never forget you,
When I lie in bed at night,
I’ll dream of you when I sleep,
And remember you by light,
I could never change this,
No matter how hard I try,
Nothing can bring you back,
No matter how much I cry,
You made me a better person,
Because you taught me how to love,
I know I have you as a guardian angel,
Watching over me from above,
The memory remains,
Although you are gone,
Everyday that passes,
I’ll continue to get strong…
