Aunt Pat
In life I did not know you as much as in death,
you suffered in pain till your final breath, you lived each day strong and righteous, you never hurt a soul even when laying lifeless, you gave and gave till you had no more. Your persevering attitude puts me to shame, teaching & parenting all alone, even keeping a clean home, you were alway's there for students as a teacher, friend & coach, on Christmas you were alway's a most gracious host. To you on this St. Patty's day I decree a toast, May god ease your pain and in his loving arms protect you from the rain, May he bring you joy and love and anything in life you could not achieve, You are one I truly did do wrong, never spending time with you till, bam, to late your gone.
