HOLY SHIT, protesters mowed down by motorist?!?!
god damn, i just witnessed the most horriffic thing i've ever seen
a crowd of anti-war protesters were marching peacefully up burrard street right as they passed in front of my shop, some asshole in a red car RIPPED through the crowd at full speed, taking down about 15 people, smashing bikes, leaving a trail of people lying in the street then took off. i was standing right beside a bike cop, who didn't persue the offender WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!?!?!? i don't care what your opinion on the war issue is, you DON'T just fucking run people down in the street! fuck this, i'm going home

ok, nobody seriously injured, some minor wounds but everything's okay now
it's a miracle nobody was hurt worse, he was definitely moving fast enough to kill, and he didn't slow down when people were falling beside his car  somebody got the license plate # though, that fucker is FUCKED

Well, can be looked at in many different ways.
are they protesters, victims, hippies, nuisances? Was the guy in the car a protester himself, fanatic, terrorist? Ionno. i think the whole thing sucks shit. and the only thing that got me through to the end of the post was konrd's pic of the chick. dope ass shit man. I don't think i've seen a body that delicious.. ever.

And although the bike cop probably should have done SOMETHIG, i doubt he would be able to do much considering the difference in the ability of speed between their vehicles.

- Victims because they didn't deserve what was brought forth upon them. - Hippies because any peace loving, sign holding, flower wielding ANYONE seems to be titles one. - Nuisances because they block traffic to the people who support them, and ruin the days of the people who don't deserve to be protested against. The war is in Iraq. Why do they need to blockade off robson and burrard, or the burrard street bridge? Don't they understand that there are people trying to live out their lives? how many people lost their jobs, what if someone needed to get to the hospital for one reason or another? I understand their cause, but why couldn't they have gone to a designated rallying point like the art gallery? - protester because he did was he did for his belief that they shouldn't have been there. - fanatic because he took his belief to the extreme and threatened lives. - terrorist because he brought his wrath down on the innocent who didn't deserve what happened. Road Rage or not, if you combine those definitions in varying ways, you receive different denominations of the experience. I am totally with you when you feel that it was a barbaric act. I'm not opposing your belief that the driver should lose his license AND i believe he should go to jail. I am sorry that you had to witness the accident. In fact, you can't even call it an accident because it was a conscious decision. But why are we arguing? You simply didn't read the post in depth. Mistress Spank Me, I get out. Believe me i do. ^i hear ya... only they weren't blockading the road, traffic was being directed AROUND the protest, no other motorists even seemed very preturbed by the whole thing. Normally in that type of situation you'd hear loads of verbal abuse being hurled from passing vehichles, but not in this case. It all seemed very peaceful until that joker drove into the crowd.

I think you took my comment a little too serious. I wasn't insulting you or the girl. I think she's fine too and I agree with you on the whole actress, model, stripper thing. That girl has got a much better body than some skinny ass airbrushed girl. It's just not the best body I've ever seen :P I think we both took eachothers exagerations the wrong way, that's all.
