anyone have a decent divx/mpeg collection goin?

I'm down for trading.

I'm looking in particular for kevin spencer episodes right now, and there don't seem to be too many on the filesharing networks.

are u on dsl or cable?
i have maybe 30 movies but its not worth waiting for a person to send me 700mb at 20k/sec on cable heh

its funny you say that though, whenI had cable, I was getting xfer rates alot faster than this DSL that I'm on now.

heh.. i used to rip divx movies from DVDs i rented at blockbuster and distribute them on the net... it ended up taking up waayy to much disk space and time.. so i stopped. I was quite good at it tho, and you wouldn't have been able to tell it wasnt a DVD besides special features not workin..

yeah... I've seen some pretty impressive divx encodings.

Like the DVD rip of the Waking Life that's around... one of the best pieces of encoding work I've ever seen.

i got dsl back when it first came out like 5 yrs ago
4mbit down 1 mbit up heh
that was PIMPED
~500k/sec down and ~130-140 up
now its 2.5down 640kbs up
Winstons on dsl and i get a good 95-100k/sec to him
im not argueing that cable aint fast at night sometimes
ive seen my buddies hit 600k/sec down in middle of night
but the upstream is shit on it
