it's better if they don't here about the smaller ones... i've been to underground parties... and it's a hell of alot safer for people to pop ( if they choose to ) at plaza. The "small" ones u speak of usually don't even give a fuck if u pop... they watch u pop.. i see people high as a motherfucker at small parties and i'm think " this is not a safe venue for people to be doing drugs, people could od and nobody would even knows they are dead. True plaza is directed towards "new Ravers" but plaza doesn't force people to do drugs...people choose themselves, u can't blame plaza because some stupid kids fucked wit more then they can handle. |

If people want to go party they will find the party regardless if it is a small underground one or a large massive.
Closing down the Plaza won't do anything to curb whether or not a person is going to do drugs at a party. That decision was made long before the person walks past the doors. I would have to agree that the Plaza is probably one of the safest places for someone to do drugs if one were going to. If something goes wrong there are professionals to assist and get you out of the event and to a hospital. If this was a smaller underground party without first aid capability that this person would most certainly be dead. Don't bash the Plaza as a venue that "encourages" drug use as it does not, it is just a place to party. Using your logic a party at the Colesium should never happen since it is 3 time the size of the Plaze and god forbid USC 7 in Seattle as it'll be a drug overdose frenzy. Disclaimer : This post is in no way saying that taking drugs is a good thing. Do some research and learn before you try anything, at least try to make an educated decision and not fall to peer pressure. Geez... I haven't used this in a looooong time. |

man fuck u cats abt hating the plaza kuz u can't party w/ "new ravers"
some people hate going to sum small underground ass rave where location isn't easy to find, information can't be obtained just like that, and not a lot of their friends go to kuz only "ELITE TRU PARTY KIDS" like u peeps know about it. i think fnk is a board for party people and those alike. if u want to post abt ur royal raver haterness, like how u want to talk about trance sucks, plaza is a crappy venue, how 14 year old ravers are so sad... please go to electronicdynasty.com and are u gonna associate me with marijuana kuz my nickname is 4:20? kuz ifu are, please ask snyx as he knows mighty well how i'm not very potheaded Last edited by ty:rone; Apr 23, 03 at 03:30 PM. |

Just how does a massive "bring" 13-16 year olds? I hear of kids faking permission slips to get to these parties, I hear of kids making up events to get to these parties. Don't blame the venue, don't blame the promoters. If the parents of the kids as retarded enough not to check up on exactly what their kids are doing then blame them. No one forces anyone to go to these events. If you buy a ticket you CHOOSE to attend the event. If you take money out of your pocket and buy drugs to consume, you CHOOSE to do so. The promoter never forced you to attend the event, the venue never asked you to do the drugs. If someone is silly enough to do a substance they have no idea what it is then they do deserve the consequences. I am not being harsh here, but that is just some "cleaning of the gene pool", pure Darwinism at work. I just shake my head at you people that think that shutting down a nice venue or blame massives for all the problems that exist. Just remember that you too used to be a newbie 'partykid'. |

Yeah I agree that i enjoy the smaller parties, but if it wasnt for the bigger ones i went to in the first place i would have no idea about this whole scene. I also still do enjoy a good plaza party once in a while, get to see some good talent and and dance my ass off with some people who are out to have fun. |

I know the individule makes the choice... BUT by flyering at off the wall, below the belt, raw edge WHERE THE TARGET MARKET IS 14-17 these PLAZA/PNE partys are targeted towards that age group.... The kids with disposible income. I hate the commercialization of things..and these Plaza partys are a great fuckin example. When you see a "rave" advertisment at a fuckin bus loop...thats just retarded. But to each its own I guess..You have your opinion..I have mine. Peace. |
