New Bike
I'm finally gonna get a new bike, the old one is dead
i havent really followed whats been going on with bikes for ages but i'm sure theres gotta be some knowledged people? i dunno how much i should be spending, but i want a somewhat solid frame thats as light as possible, spds, v brakes (unless theres a new kind out?) decent forks (whats hot now? are judys still around?), a seat that wont bruise my ass and crush my balls(the one i have now is fuckin BRUTAL).... i dunno if i want rear suspension or not.... i'll be using this fully for mountain biking last time i checked..... like 4-5 years ago, i saw a deal for a norco frame with judy sl forks, rear suspension, v brakes, lot of the parts were xpd (i beleive thats the term? fuck i cant remember) blah etc etc and it totaled up to 8-9 bills. the total weight was 27 pounds and maybe i missed out on a sick deal but what can i get with that much money now?

v brakes are old news...hydraulic or cable disc brakes are where its at. i dont know much about bikes though, havent really followed the biking world lately
