Anyone sick from Twisted?

I'm like dying here
been sick since Wednesday

I met a few people from Toronto, and tried staying the hell away from them, I'm not sure if it worked or not

I'm too stubborn to see a Doctor, but its gotten really bad, so I'm gonna go see one today

If anyone else is sick, tell me what your symptoms are

I had some flu symptoms (body ache, chills, lack of appetite) after Twisted 2003 but they went away after a couple of days of rest and hydration.

No SARS symptoms here.

It's just the fact that I've never been like this before, and I feel I can fight it off like I've always done, without seeing a Doctor

Of course if it gets really bad then I'm gonna go see one.

I'm not like most people that fill up the damn clinic because of a bee sting.

Well you said "I'm like dying here... been sick since Wednesday" and that sounds a little more than feeling like you can fight it off.

Could be just a cause of raver plague and you'll be fine.

I know of someone who is also sick, and they were there at twisted. To be safe, go to a SARS Clinic and just check yourself out. if not for your sake, than for your friends and family. you're too young to get horribly sick to the point that you're going to die, so be worries about your younger and older relations.

what's the big deal anyways, "no, you don't have sars, sorry to disappoint you" is the response you'll get if yo udon't have it and you think you're just over-reacting. if you do, atleast you know what's shakin and that yo ucan get help.

^Well first of all it's not like all people from Toronto have SARS, not even close, it's basically contained in hospitals.

Also if you're getting really sick, you should see a doctor, even if it's probably not SARS, getting antibiotics will really make the next week or so seem alot less shitty. Just suck it up and make an appointment.

If you really think u got SARS check some webpages for symptoms (Im sure there are TONS of pages with info right now), one notable problem is problems with breathing and I think thats what u die from with SARS, not being able to breathe. Also remember only likw 2% of healthy males from 15-30 die from SARS, so even if u got it (which I really really really doubt), you'll be fine.

I've been dying since Wednesday, but my reasons for not seeing a Doctor is because my symptoms have been going away, and coming back.

I'm gonna check myself out there's no question there.

I was just curious to know if anyone else is still feeling like me.

Maybe not from SARS but from something else.

^You got the flu or something like it. If symptoms are coming and going it ain't SARS, cuz if u got SARS u get sick and u stay really sick.

Just go see a doctor if u wanna get better, simple as that.

There is a flu bug going around.

5 people from my office got sick within the last 2 weeks.

I thought I got it too but the symptoms have since gone away.

People are way too paranoid about SARS right now, thw WHO warning on Toronto is BULLSHIT. Listen, you're more likely to die from a car crash than from SARS.

i know lots of people who've had it.. i've had it.. twice! i'm getting over it for the second time now..

If you are worried, just see a doctor.
Even if it's just a cold/flu or throat infection or something, they'll usually be able to give you something, or some tips to help you feel better while you're fghting it. (last time i did that, i had a nasty throat infection.. was told to stay away from salty/acidic things as they irritate the throat.. meanwhile everyone else was making me eat oranges and stuff like that)

I was pretty sick the day after twisted, not a cold i just was really dizzy and shit like that. It only lasted one day though.

The monday after Twisted I was sick for about a week. I'm not normally this sick, but I have a severe case of the flu. Dr. says its not Sars. I have now recovered, but it is kinda odd.

Yea a lot of my friends got sick.. hella sick. I had tonsilitis for bout 2 weeks and I still dont feel fine grrr! I hate days that ur sick...
