As a child you always knew, that one day you too, would be big. With the world so large, in your saucer wide eyes, time is your playground. Its one big slide. Skinned knees and bee stings, the end of the world. The droplets of blood, cause tears to unfurl. Naivity and trust, are the rules of your life. cause' bad people are always ugly, right? From cradle to coffin, life only goes down. Gaining speed and problems, like a merry-go-round. Open your eyes now, its all a blur. Is this life? So i've heard... Memories fade, your vison does too, faster and faster, what do you do? Your fifteen! Your twenty, Your thirty or more! Everyday you now pass that corner candy store. Your big now! Already? Not me! Oh no! Your fun and friends now fit the nine-to-five, and the monotony of life wears on those who strive. I'm dizzy please stop! But, I know now, I see. That big people have the responsiblity, to keep the young, innocent, happy, and most of all -carefree- |
