obviously everyone's rooting for the ducks. but does anyone care what happens in the east? i'd probably cream my pants for a sens/nucks final. i'm rooting for tampa cuz of st.louis, cuz nj is too crazy with brodeur

tampa bay vs new jersey is probably the least exciting series i could ever come up with. doesn't even hold my attention.

if both the sens and vancouver make the finals it would be hard for BOTH of them to receive financial funding, according to the newspaper

Also you dont want the Ducks to make it far, if they beat Dallas, & lets say they slip pass Vancouver & make it to the finals, they will probally continue to be one of the better teams in the league (similar to the LA LAKERS in the NBA), because the Ducks are owned by Disney Corp. which as we all know have alot of money, & the Ducks going to the finals will gain alot of home town intrest with Anaheim, which will push Disney to make a bigger payroll, & trust me Disney could hold off a huge payroll, with the support of Anaheim & Disney combined.

But anyways I know we'll beat the Ducks no prob, just thought Id have a lil rant!

i'd rather face anaheim as well. but look at how they're playing. solid defensively and with a smokin hot goalie to boot, they can beat anyone right now. i'm just saying, no one should look past anaheim. hell no one should be looking past minnesota the way they're playing. I just hope this doesn't spawn a whole league full of trap style hockey. It got that way after lemaire took the devils to the cup back in the mid 90's. It's gotten a bit more open but looking at who's in the the playoffs still, it's gettin a bit worse.

anyways. as for the other series, NJ vs Tampa, i really hope NJ gets kicked out, cuz if they win it'll be hard as fuck for Ottawa to get past em.
