starting new threads

anyone else notice that the threads on this general board gets longer and longer everytime, yet the posts have nothing to do with the topic??

there's like threads up on here posted like super long ago... and you would think there would be new thread's to replace them. but noooo.. same topic just with like 50 reponses that have nothing to do with the original thread.

me thinks we should start new threads more frequently!!

come on f&k.. i have faith in you!! i really doooo... =)

HAH! well said tiff!! you are sooo right.. for example, the post will be about a certain topic, and then people start replying with how their weekends were and what they did.. uhhh? and then some how conversations form in the thread about what their plans are for next weekend and blahblahblah... TOTALLY OFF-TOPIC!

i personally think that the thread should have replies ABOUT the actual topic.. if you want a conversation with your buddy on f&k try using icq or phone!

it's inevitable for conversations between a group of people to take sudden tangents. that's what makes conversations so interesting. my 2 cents at least.

but yes. new threads (with a POINT) are always a good thing.

okay but yeah, it's not that bad usually. i think the more forums we have the more it helps.
the movie thread sorta gave me the idea of an entertainment forum...where we could review everything that doesn't have to do with parties....concerts, movies, whatever....what do you guys think? i dunno. shut up carla
