I've never been so scared for the Canucks when they take a penalty against any other team but the Wild just make you cringe.

the blues were hurting??? winston, c'mon now. I know u gotta be smarter than that. HELLO!!! doug weight still is in the top 3 for scoring and they only played 7 games. i do admit, they were affected by the loss of macinnis, but by no menas were the blues hurting. if they got past the first round, they would've been dangerous!

OK... maybe hurting was a bad word to use but we had the edge on them.

The only way I can describe the Canucks vs. the Wild is that everytime I see us make a bad pass I'm expecting Gaborik to make us cry.

Their style is fucking suffocating and it is a hard style of game to watch too. When we were playing the Blues it was more run and gun and wide open.

Take out a key guy in McInnis and it opened up in our favour for certain scenarios. I can't say that has happened in any game except #4 against the Wild when Mitchell got nailed.

I can only imagine what might have happened if we faced this team in the first round instead.

well it's a bit different. i cheer for my team when they are doing good. I fuckin rag on em when they fuck up. it's the way shit happens. I do admit that they have been lagging lately, but the emotion and heart we have following this great game of ours, is what makes hockey what it is in canada.

My prediction for tonight. 2-0 Canucks!!
