at first read I assumed it was the flat 2d graphic of the elephant on the side. but looking at this shirt, and I can CLEARLY see the remake of a religious idol in shirt form. I donno how respectful that is, but not much need to remove it from the shelfs

i don't see how it could get out of hand. obviously there were enough people who it offended for them to actually remove it from all their stores. it's not like you can go into a store and say "oh hey, that offends me because of my non-existant religion. take it out of all stores now!" doesn't work like that, so nothing it really out of hand. |

^You don't see how those two things are different? No one cares about an individual's beliefs. One person ain't gonna make a difference. Majority and social norms rules. No one cares if you're offended by a banana unless it was some sacred religious fruit that God ate on his birthday or some crap like that.
Religion is a touchy issue, no one gives two shits about your banana. |
