Grey hair at young age
I know early greying of the hair is basically hereditary but this is rediculus. I started to get grey hairs since I was 14 :(. I'm 21 now and I don't think pulling them out is a good option anymore. If I had blond hair I wouldn't care, but I got black hair so it easily stands out :toasted:. Anyone have a similiar problem, is coloring the only way to go?

there's really not much you can do but go the way of dyes.
it's okay, i should be going grey by now lol.. my mom started getting grey hair at 17/18. only problem was she has really sensitive skin and is allergic to most dyes, so that's not an option for her. only reason i don't know if i'm going grey is because i dye my hair. dying hair isn't so bad =) bleaching is worse, but you don't need bleach, so go experiment with the dyes! |

OHHHHHHHH I TOTALLY FEEL YOU! There has to be like some gray hair support group or something, because mine is just ridiculous as well.
I've had gray hair ever since I can remember. I remember my mom just sifting through my hair plucking out grays one by one. If what the old wive's tale that if you pluck your grays more will grow, is true, then no wonder I'm doomed to all this gray hair. I don't think stress is all that related, I think that it's a genetic thing. I've always had red/blond/white/gray hair mixed in with my blacks. I'm dying my hair again soon cause it's so nasty... |
