maybe they decided to put grilled cheese on the menu cuz of the decrease in sales of burgers since mad cow disease is freakin people out. maybe it might be a smart move to get rid of their burger buns and cheese before they go bad and hey they gotta do whatever it takes to make some bling by the end of the day

Heres some of the latest McDonalds news:
Michigan Man Sues McDonald's for $25,000 DETROIT - A man is suing fast-food giant McDonald's after allegedly biting into a piece of already chewed gum in a salad. In a lawsuit filed in Wayne County Circuit Court, Joseph Taylor says the Feb. 26 incident has caused him "mental anguish, humiliation, embarrassment, and pain and suffering and loss of appetite." He has sought medical attention, according to the lawsuit. Taylor also said he fears he may have contracted AIDS or hepatitis, the Detroit Free Press reported Wednesday. The assistant manager of the restaurant, Amit Kumar, said McDonald's insurance company is handling the lawsuit. The lawsuit states Taylor was eating a salad at a McDonald's on the Wayne State University campus when he "discovered a foreign object in his mouth that had already been chewed by someone else." He is seeking damages of more than $25,000. Couple Sues McDonald's Over Tough Bagel PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. - A couple is suing the franchisee of a McDonald's restaurant, claiming an improperly prepared bagel damaged the husband's teeth and their marriage John and Cecelia O'Hare sued Friday for unspecified damages more than $15,000. They alleged the McDonald's, owned by Johnstone Foods Inc., was negligent and violated an "implied warranty that the food sold was reasonably fit for human consumption." They contend in the suit that John O'Hare broke teeth and bridgework on Feb. 1, 2002 when he bit into the bagel. The suit did not say what exactly was wrong with the bagel. The suit alleges the wife "lost the care, comfort, consortium and society of her husband." The couple's attorney, Tim Warner, did not return telephone messages left at his office. Tracey Johnstone, owner of Johnstone Foods, said she never before had a bagel complaint and had no idea how it could have been prepared in a way that would damage teeth. "It's a bagel," she said. |
