Ash I totally know what you mean bout not feeling safe tanning. My dad lives right by english bay in one of those highrise apartment buildings and he's the manager right.. so him and the assistant manager are the only people that have keys for the roof of the building.
So last year assuming I was in a remotely secluded area with a decent amount of privacy, i'd tan in the nude on the roof, only to stand up one day and look over to the roof of one of the higher neighboring buildings and see a man looking over with binoculars... I was disguisted.. needless to say I won't be tanning naked any time soon.
