Flowing through the tides of depression, pain, and anger

Skimming my fingers through the biting thorns,

Filled with hatred they pierced their soft flesh, poisoning their once innocent ways.

Hard to remember now a time when sobriety was even an association with them.

Far from chaste, far from blessed.

Deeper, and darker they continue to pull them, into the pit of depression, the true bottom.

Lieing to close ones for a free hit, their next point, sometimes just a bump.

Pushed under the swift angry currents
Held until you breathe that last breath
until you get your next hit
until you die
until they take you
until you dont get up
until they call your parents
until they mourn your death

A lost cause lost to a drug for the lost ones.

Find yourself before you lose yourself.
