they are in town from Toronto for my convocation tomorrow

It was such a gorgeous day for a convocation ceremony....!

Grr....makes me f'in jealous and kinda makes me want to speed up the pace I'm at....=)

Congratz on the BA (If I remember correctly from another thread?)... What do you plan to do with it, if I may ask? I'm curious because I am majoring in English as well.

1) Frogstuff, convocation is derived from the word convocate, which means a meeting or gathering i believe.

2) ^ my gf just got accepted into the phd program in english. I'm hella proud of her. Maybe uve had her as a t.a. at some point.

Yes, yes there are fish in our fish pond - although I didn't see any yesterday - but they may have been looking for shade as it was stupidly hot

What to do with a BA in English?? Well really a BA in anything gets you jack, but it looks great on a resume - At some point I will return to SFU for PDP and eventually master in conselling science

...In the meantime I shall work to pay off my loan and then PDP and then teach - that's the plan currently
although it's not set in stone :)
