Aldous Huxleys "Brave New World"
I enjoy reading when I come across a novel as imaginative as this. As I am a very technical person, science fiction needs to have technical assets that are believable and in this novel Aldous Huxley explains thing's in great detail that are technically correct and believable... I'm glued to this book and it's an awesome read, if anyone hasn't read this, check it out.. I also suggest.. George Orwells "1984"
Sex, manipulation, social hierarchy, conditioning, ostracism, a mockery of society as we know it.. what's not to like? |

this is so weird.. i just finished reading this book. conor...the stuff we have in common scares me sometimes.
i had a tough time reading this book, because the first few chapters to me were really dreadful and boring, and it took a while for it to actually hit the plot. all in all, the book really relates to our society right now and it scares me what technology can do to us and change us. not too big of a fan of this book, but it was a good read. okay so who wants to take some soma with me and go enjoy some erotic play in the forest? hehehe |
