I love Henna! :)

I just got a black henna tattoo in Old Montreal today and it's awesome! Got the Chinese symbol for "soul" on my right shoulder...perfect for tank tops! Lasts 3 weeks so it kind of satisfies my tattoo craving. I've been wanting to get another real one lately, but when I got mine, I got a big one so I wouldn't get more than one. So this is perfect!

Henna's great for natural hair dye too so you won't screw up your hair with all of those chemicals.

I'm a really big fan of henna too :) When I was younger my neighbor who was South East Asian taught me how to apply mehndi, make special tubes and nozzles, etc. So i'm actually quite skilled now, I do designs for my friends every now and then and it looks pretty good.

i worked for the kwantlen student association, and i had to plan all the events on all the campuses, and every event we had i brought in a really wicked henna lady.
she was so nice, and her work was absolutely amazing.

The guy told me it would last for about a month as long as I put vaseline on it before exposing it to water.

It usually lasts 2 weeks.. and it depends on where you want the design, if you put it on the palm of your hand it'll be darker and last longer than if you put it on top of your hand or your ankle, etc. Also the longer you keep the henna on your hand, the darker it will appear. You can make a mixture of lemon juice and sugar and keep reapplying it to the henna as its drying to keep it wet longer so it'll stay absorb for a longer period of time. Or you can put tiger balm and the heat makes the color darker.
