Ahhh. Hate to be the party pooper but hole digging is actually VERY dangerous. I saw this on an episode of Oprah. Parents were on there talking about their children dying from doing this...and I don't just mean young children. Some older teenagers died from this as well! In one case, somebody dug a hole...they got tired of it and started playing football. One of the teens took a dive for the ball, fell in the hole, and all of the sand fell ontop of him and suffocated him. All of his friends tried to dig him out of there but the sand just kept collapsing inwards and they couldn't get him out until it was much too late.

Not sure if you guys are going to care after reading this...so if you DO go and do this, make sure you be careful. And also make sure you cover back up the holes after you're done so kids running around the beach don't fall in and get suffocated.

Last time i dug a hole was when i was little, and i was convinced if i dug long enough i would come out the other side. Then i got in trouble for wrecking my mom's garden, and that was the end of my hole digging days. :kam: :kam: :smoke1:
