A Wedding gift.. the thought that counts
my friends wedding is coming up and I wanna get him a great wedding present.
..but its gotta be perfect. he's is a good old buddy whos starting life rather quickly, ontop of his marrage at twenty he also has gotta baby on the way. his feance is a great girl too, they will be happy together :) so this comes to his gift, and I want it to be good. but what do ya get a rather large, tuff eastindian guy and his wife? I mean baby on the way is a good place to start, but I just donno. I want it to be good. (and not too expencive) :hehe: ideas please :) *and no toasters or bags of pot. that simply wont work. -Myles |

gift certificates for:
ikea the bay baby stores etc you could do a combo thing...something for the fiance like a spa gift certificate, a baby outfit, and a gift certificate or something nice for him... ummm.... a bread maker pots/pans silverware towels art for the house a certificate to get a family portrait done once the baby comes. i dunno...i hope those help. |

or book them in/get them a gift certificate for a nice hotel...even if its downtown, for the nite, with dinner or something, so they can have a nite to themselves once the baby comes.
there's this really really nice hotel downtown called victorian hotel on homer street, its sssssssooooooooo nice, when you step inside it doesnt even feel like you're in van anymore...it's onl 70 bucks a nite.... you could always get a couple of people to chip in, so you can get them a nice dinner or somethings omewhere |

make him some art for his place, what exactly, is up to you, painting, blown up photograph (saw a sweet one at a buddy of mines, looks like a painting!) ,
your into computer graphics right? do something with that , burn it, take it to a place that can make it into a good size print it and voila...art! funky and cool, and super personalized, gr8t for the budget too |
