anyone who was impressed/amazed at some basic graphics aren't the car people i'd want to impress. the people i'd want respect from is the same people who cream their pants when they see the oh so beautiful 2.0L turbo. say it. doesn't that sound nice? sr20det i believe but i can't remember. save money. graphics are cheese.

Save the $100 bucks and put it towards an SR swap! Not only is it practicle (you're putting in an engine with like 40,000 km on it) it's also FASTER! (205hp stock from a redtop SR) check out my website if you want to learn more about 240SXs and engine swaps http://northwestnissans.com |

^^^ ive been on northwestnissans FOREVER dude.
"konrad" problem with running an sr is i'd have to put in the good gas, and its just too much money. I could buy a whole other car for the cost of an sr swap, for which the work i would be doing myself. |

It'll add up dude
SR Engine - $3500-4000 Shipping - $700 installion free, but 2 or 3 days work there Plus keeping it running, at 80 or 90 cents a liter, which isn't gonna last long if i lean on the boost, which i would, because it would be a waste to drive it like a grandma. Besides that, i find it very UNPRACTICAL to buy an engine i cant see running before i pay for it. It could have been shitkicked by some guy in japan, have a blown head, headgasket, fucked up tranny, who knows. Could have 200,000km on it for all i know. Theres no odometer on the engine block. |

Of course it's going to cost more money, but the point is there are better things to spend that $100 bucks on then ricing out your car. =) heheh sorry if that offends ya but you did ask for opinions. |

all of konrad's designs have been the utmost of taste and sophistication. i cannot believe that some of you would call his art "tacky." i dare not think where these simpletons have been "educated".
rather, i'd like to concentrate on how konrad should modify his car's exterior. since all three of his designs are worthy of being used, it is difficult to choose which. this is why i suggest all three be put on the car at once. on one side, place one of the designs. on the other side, place the remaining two. where they overlap, indicate as such with an alternating hatch to give the discerning viewer complete awareness of the designs. as a further modification, konrad might want to consider adding extra droplets of blue from the main droplets. the windward-swept illusion only really works when at speed. when at rest at a stoplight, the illusion will look off and incomplete. to compensate, smaller droplets streaking downwards would be painted on, as if gravity, and not the wind, were doing all the work. this assures that the viewer is completely fooled by the clever paint job.* all in all, i applaud konrad on his efforts. godspeed the polskamobile. * droplets at 45 degrees might also be painted on, for the transitional speeds. |

subtlety and originality.
i'd be more impressed to see that someone mounted an instrument console in the t-frame of their de lorean than to see someone with a massive spoiler (or two or three) that they'll never benefit from. as for konrad's planned mods, i've been working on a little visual aid. gimme a sec to post it. |

on a side note, do you have any idea how hard it is to find pictures of tacky patio lanterns?
apparently there's been a revolution since i remember them being popular. most of the ones i saw were cast iron/ceramic, and were fairly arty. sadly, it looks like the kim mitchell era is behind us. thankfully though, canadian club and lucky lager are still around. all we need now are lawn darts to make life complete. |
