have you noticed in movies how they switch a scene and theres not any talking going on...It's like they were tottaly silent until the camera hits them and they start talking....they should make it more realistic.....

Haha I've never noticed that but hey...it probably happens. It's even worse when, for example, someone breaks their right arm and then in another scene it's their left arm that's broken...

There's a site (I forgot the exact name, but a quick search on Google might net you something) which was made specifically to draw attention to such errors made in movies. They are described in great detail, and with a DVD player it's not that hard to spot them (you could do it with a VCR, but who wants go to such trouble?).

This was a while back, but I remember that at the time, the movie with the most "errors" was the original Matrix. One of the new Star Wars, Gladiator, and a several other movies had a fairly large number of the as well.

Oh continuity errors.. There's not a whole lot you can do about them.
Must be hard spending 14 hours a day on set doing ONE scene from ONE camera angle and trying to get every person and prop in the exact same position it was to begin with, including things like the precise way in which a persons shirt was tucked in...

my brother is like you cheryl....notices weird things all the time

it makes it difficult when trying to enjoy movies.

in uhhh...gladiator...in the first opening scene theres an crew member just standing in the middle of the fight.

also when they're racing on chariots...one of them leans over to much or falls or something and you can see an air compressor tank underneath the blanket.

^^ i've figured it would, so i just never say anything till after the movie. lol

michelle - it's not so much things like they're standing position, or a shirt being tucked in. those are understandable (of course). but most things i notice are actual objects. like if someone's holding something (saw, a pop can) and then all of a sudden they're holding a can of juice instead? Those ones are just weird..

haha i notice things like that all the time.. im a detail freak .. what pisses me off the most is when people have a low attention to detail .. when im in the car wit my mom for example.. shes like oh thats a nice car [toyota celica] and then we keep driving ..and shes like isnt that the car we saw earlier?? [its a Mazda Miata] im like.. omg.. what are u Blind? its a totally different car!!!!!!!!! :soak:

yeah lol so many mistakes in the matrix .. the one that pissed me off the most was when he was using the dual fucking automatic pistols and hes shredding bullet proof armor with fukin 9 mm bullets .. and the shells are fkin bigger than the gun ..
