hazel silence [poem]

staring into my heart
i want this to
end
over with done we fall away from sight
hide in my silver loft
away from the stars
being serious has never meant so much
i fly with the golden arrows
saving them one at a time
i love to swim
bask between the stars
beneath the clouds they sing
songs of thought and hate and lust
inching into desperation
rocks thrown through yellowtinted glass
piercing holes through my brain
if i could
save one of you
the sky would scream my name until raindrops burnt holes through my cheeks

but only cause i wish i could do something about this.
