check the seller's history. see how much feedback he/she has. basically if you decide to buy something and the person takes your money and doesn't send you shit. you're screwed. all you cna do is leave him negative feedback. someone with lots of positive and 0 negative is what you're aiming at

there ya go. also. don't chince out on insurance or getting a tracking numbe.r make sure he sends it UPS and not US Mail. DO NOT get it sent fedex ground. They are the absolute WORST for getting stuff shipped ground. Damaged boxes are a guarantee with them. Fedex groudn & Regular Fedex are different companies. Fedex = Good, Fedex Gorund = REAL BAD

pretty much everything that chris said.
check out there info too. like there location. there's just something i don't like about people who live in "british columbia, USA" they don't seem too bright. if the person is a power seller, they are most likely okay. 98.2% sounds good. but check out the negative comments if you can. dont forget, for UPS.. you or someone is going to have to be home when it's delivered. and you might end up paying tax on it on your end. (happened to my dad today, got something from the US from UPS, and ran to my room asking if i had $5.84 for taxes) have fun =) |

Get insurance if available, get a tracking number and open the package when delivered to check for any damage.
If possible get a contact phone number and call him if the purchase is valuable enough. I did a purchase in excess of $5000 once and wanted to make sure the guy was for real and contacted his bank to forward account info to my bank for verification before I sent payment. |
