hm. if i'm not mistaken, all the new ravers think the rave scene is going good, and all the "experienced" ravers think its dead? all the new ravers say PLUR, all the old ravers say "PLUR is dead, i killed it!"

who's killing the scene?

Our generation of ravers has grown up. Nolan is right when we for some reason think we should be on vip. That cant feed the rave economy. Twisted will be gone soon too if kraig continues to put over 30 fnk'ers on his guest list.

Relax kids, remember all our complaining years ago when all we wanted was "under ground raves"?

We need to suck in fresh hich school kids and make raves seem like there cool agin :smoke1: Thay way we can obtain more money to feed promoters, djs, dealers and you old skools punks whinning for vip's ;)

Legal issues and by-laws are to blame

Well there was for many years sevral grey areas of the law that were exploited. For instance Cumberland Hall, The Sapnish Cultural Center (when it could go all night) and Mitchell Island all operated with out liscence's from the cities they were in and could be used at a realitively low cost. These were all "unbustable" venue's that allowed promoters to put on a show with certainty that it could happen.

These days there isn't any such alternatives.

I think to say that there would be a difference in perspective is true. However to say that old school (such a vague phrase at best anyway) = bitter and new = happy is idiotic.

Delux @ The Lux

Back in da day when Underworld first dropped Rez and Hardfloor dropped Trancescript (and Acperience after that). I was there. That place was so sketchy upstairs on the balcony. I still talk to this guy Chris who go-go danced at that place.
