ok, i know that lisa lashes and lisa pin-up are unlikely to hit vancouver. but, here's to hoping for those of you who want them. (don't know WHY you'd want to bring in lisa pin-up anymore tho).
Hard House / Hard Trance Ian Van Dahl Dekoze (i miss him) Fergie Christopher Lawrence BK Andy Farley Warp Brothers (yet again) Max Graham Breaks DJ Icey (definately, even if just for the draw) DJ Fixx Huda Hudia or Dig Dug Precise (local, but world class) House Erick Morillo Kid Creme (gotta LOVE austin's groove) Bassment Jaxx Deliverance yeah, that's just off the top of my head tho. |

Because I'm serious about getting a new face for drum and bass into the city I've done some homework for y'all
ROB F For the last 3 years he has released under the guise of Sinthetix on such labels as Renegade Hardware, DSCI4, Crytic Audio, Subtitles and currently has solo releases lined up for Moving Shadow, Renegade Hardware, Protogen and SLR. Presently, Rob F is heading up a new label, Minority Recordings with new talent Kiko out of DC (Renegade Hardware, 1210). Through his production and djing, Rob F has attained global recognition appearing in magazines including URB, XLR8R, Mixmag and Rinse to name a few. -this man is a treat to watch ... I was fortunate enough to witness his set in seattle approx a month ago and it never failed to impress ... I mean ... who else is gonna play 'fuckin hostile' for halloween, and use final scratch on their whole set ... really I'd like to know ROB F ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SINTHETIX [DSCI4, CRYTIC AUDIO, RENEGADE HARDWARE, SUBTITLES, SLR] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- American/Canadian Bookings contact: Christy @ Encore // Atlanta tel : (404) 880-0890 E: christy@ encore-agency.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ HIVE Between founding four record labels, composing original tracks and constant touring, the L.A. based DJ Hive has emerged as a major figure in the underground music movement. His skills on the technics are legendary, while his production skills are equally venerable. Now riding the sucess of such tracks like "Neo" "the Plauge" and "Ultrasonic Sound" (which was featured in the Matrix soundtrack) all which have been cained by the likes of Andy C, Ed Rush, Kemal , Dieselboy and Tech Itch to name a few, the future has never looked brighter for the American DnB DJ/Producer. But to call the man strickly a DnB producer is an understatement with his roots seeded in hip-hop he has both respect and versatility in many underground genres, and is sure to deliver no matter what the occasion. OOOOOOOLAAAV (it is ALWAYS a fun rave with OLAV on the decks!)
Ritchie Hawtin (so far fetched, but he so rocked the commadore last summer and I'd love to see him again.) Vynil Ritchie DJ PANTS! BRING DJ PANTS OR SUFFER!!!!@$#@#$ heh. Z trip (again, have been impressed in the past) If you brought Orbital, I think you'd be my hero because they are probably the electronic artist I have been listening to for the longest. Far-fetched (nobody ever wants to budget as much for these acts, but I am sure people would agree it would be very swell to see them live) Roni Size (even more far-fetched breakbeat era. eep!), Teebee, Dj Shadow, hive, andy smith (portishead's dj) |
