definately a good application for the service. aside from that, i can't really see how text discussion over a cell phone would work. the difficulty in entering text would stifle most communication to short abbreviated words with little content. though, that hasn't stopped most retard irc channels from prospering, nor has it affected this site's growth, so i suppose it'd work.

companies will be using it to send newsletter style msgs, coupons, brochures, menus, ADVERTISMENTS, etc etc

sms/txt spam is on the horizon =)
