CIC: "I let you in the fucking country..."

I wonder if any of you can offer any help/advice for getting into Canada. I really wanna go because I like it a lot and I really think it's a great country but Customs and Immigration are really mad that a foreigner has patriotic opinions about your country. They treated me in a way that was unfair, racist, and maybe even illegal. I might even write to the media about some of these things that have happed not only to me but other Americans at the border.
Do any of you know a good way of getting someone in who Immigration doesn't want there, either by convincing them I'm a good guy not a bad guy or by some "other" way of getting in.
I really wanna go and I'm not gonna let them kill my dreams.

I was gonne be in Vancouver again and hopefully meeting some people from the board this time and doing lots of fun stuff, but getting in to Canada these days from, the states can be hard.
I got to the border (Blaine to Surrey) and they give me hell even worse than last time I was there and this Customs lady starts asking me if I'm on any medications and takes me in the Immigration office (when they send you in there, you know you're doomed). Then this mean Indian lady from Immigration says she needs to know all the states I lived in so she can do a backround check. The whole damn thing comes up clean and I tell her my plan of where I'm gonna go and all that she starts bitching at me about "last time you were here you didn't confirm your departure."
I told her I was sorry and explained why I didn't. She said she wasn't gonna let me in because of that and she said I didn't have enough money which isn't true because last time they let me in with less money.
She said, "Well that was last time." What a bitch she is!

She had customs rip through my fucking luggage too. He did find anything. He asked my if I ever smoked pot before and I know he's just asking that to harass me so I said, "Yes, we all have at one time or another. I'm sure you have to sir."

I really like Canada and I wanna go there again but the border is like a wall that's so damn hard to get through. I told them about how I really like Canada and that makes them angrier for some reason and they mocked me when I told them about my friend I was gonna visit in Vancouver and they treated me like I was crazy. That same lady like to turn away every US Citizen possible for no good reason. Other people have told me about her.

A month later I tried going again (in a different way. I guess you could call me you Surrey Poem nightmare). I got pulled over on 0 Ave. I sang O Canada in the RCMP car and that pissed off the cop. He told me shut up but I kept singing it and then I sang it in French too. And they asked me a bunch of questions and said they were just gonna dump me back into the States.

Anyways, when it was time for the to take me back, the CIC officer came in the interrogation room where I was locked in for 2-3 hours (the same guy who let me in the time I was allowed in) and threw my stuff at me.

"Here's your shit." He yelled. "Grab your fucking stuff! It's time to go. I let you in the fucking country. I gave you a visitor record and told you to confirm your fucking departure."

He drove me across the border in the back of the van and when he opened the door, I was about to get out but he said, "Wait a minute. There's just one thing I wanna make clear to you. If we ever see you hear at this border again, we're just gonna throw you in jail. And we'll make sure that you are put with people who will not like you. And we're gonna have an admissability hearing and we'll just deport you. You come again and we'll put you in jail again."

Any advice? Giving up is not an option for me.

wow doode, sounds like you're a pretty persistant guy!

Are you just trying to come to Canada for a day trip/visit?? or are you trying to come to Canada to live/work here?

i'm pretty sure you have to apply for citizenship before you just drive into a country and plan on living there.

If you are just coming up to visit, then that's absolutely disgusting how they are treating you.

PS: I really liked the part about you singing Oh Canada in both english/french to the cop!!! LOL :c-tard:

I was just going there to visit (at least that's what I told them).

Is it funny? Maybe it is a little in some ways but it's also serious.

About the weed... never admit that you do anything illegal. Tell them what they want to hear! If you want serious advice on this talk to an imigration lawyer.

That's a start but I was actually talking about the weed thing. If a cop asks me I barely even know what the stuff is... unless I'm smoking it at that second. Really though talk to a lawyer, I'm sure you can get free legal council in your area. If you're having a hard time try getting free council try getting in touch with a law student.

One other thing, when he told me, "If we ever see you at this border again..." I asked him if it means I can never legally come again and he said I can't.

I told him I'd probably write to someone in the Canadian government and try to get them to change their mind and he said, "No. You'll be able to go to the consulate. That's all you'll be able to do and they'll tell you the same thing as I did."
This is after another CIC lady told me I might still be able to come again. They like to contradict each other and give you the runaround :284:

Honestly I would disregard anything they told you. Try this when you get to Seattle;

Washington State Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service
Statewide lawyer referrals, based on your specific needs. Service is open Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - Noon and 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.

What did they mean by "peope who won't like you"? What is your race? If he was implying that he would lock you up somewhere you would get your ass kicked for being a certain race then that's crossing the line.

I agree that you should probably see an immigration Lawyer and hopefully you made note of these peoples names to make a complaint if you feel it's needed. If they treat people like this all the time then I'ms ure there have been other complaints and hopefully someone will do something about it one day.. maybe.. if things work that way with immigration/the government heh.

I'm half East Indian half white but I think he's just saying this for intimidation purposes. It's hard to be sure what he really means but I would think either he means he'd put me with people who would hate me for my race or maybe he'd try to put me with people who hate America and tell them I'm a U.S. citizen. What's he gonna do? Put me in the middle of nowhere in Northern BC or something, lol
I think maybe he wants to scare me away because he doesn't want me to get back there and have a hearing in court or something.
I don't know his name but it could be found out from the records.

it sounds to me like you've been pushing limits and agrevating people who you shouldn't. if you make it so that they dislike dealing with you then they are going to get rid of you, because they can. makes sense to me.
"Yes, we all have at one time or another. I'm sure you have to sir."
your decision to be honest about the first part was your own so i can't say you were wrong, but why the hell would you add the last part? it sounds disrespectful

wow dude that is pretty crazy. I suggest taking a different boarder crossing if you keep running into that same lady.

But you must have done something to get treated that badly from the customs agents. If not I appoligize.

I could fly in but I'm sure they'd probably just give me the same trouble when I land. But that gives me an Idea. Maybe I could fly to Vancouver and when they ask me, "Why are you coming to Canada?" maybe I could just say I'm going to Seattle and I just bought a ticket there because it was cheaper and I'm just gonna go to the Greyhound and go straight to Seattle.
I know this all sounds crazy but it's just so frustrating the way they don't want to to go there.

P.S. They're probably reading this
