i'm just wondering whether this is directed at people who constantly complain about parties on a recurring basis, or people who have just had bad experiences at a certain party.

I know I complained in my review for IMF, but to be completely honest, IMF was one of the only parties I haven't had a blast at.
I love partying, and I don't attend them solely to criticize, heck I hardly ever criticize, but I think occasionally everyone will attend a party where they don't have a very good experience.
