if you read up on it, there's so much stuff about the 7 day theory and how he died, one of his music videos shows how he was actually killed, the whole makiaveli thing, etc. buuuut, i think that if he were to come back, he would've by now. the whole hype around it has already died down. and either way, that's what he set it up to be - hype for after he died. the whole is he alive/dead kept him a legend.
weird that you post this cause i just had a dream that i was at a 2pac concert last night. lol. |

....are you talking about ressurection in an artistic sense?
His stuff has managed to do it several times, and he's got more fans than ever. If anything, his gangster style assasination just completely romanticizes his work for his fans, this is why they've been able to release material of his that is essentially the same for years after he died. No other artist could really manage to do that without changing something. If you mean in a physical sense, then uh..I'll believe it when I see him strolling down the street with Elvis and Kurt Cobain. |

you will always find what you are looking for if you look hard enough. there is no reasonable reason to believe tupac faked his death. it's so contrived it's laughable. |

Faking your death is illegal and if 2pac were to be alive he'd get arrested immediatly. I think he's dead, but I wish he wasn't.
If 2pac did actually fake his death, it would be one of the greatest marketing schemes in history. Many rappers would die I personally think and the entire rap industry would take a change. Original fans would rejoice and fans who kinda like him would like him even more. A few fans would be lost of course because of the deciet. His overall fan base would grow into huge #'s. /me pours a little liquor for the 7 year anniversary of Tupac Shakur R.I.P. Tupac Amaru Shakur `t1m PS - There is an offical Tupac documentary coming out to the theatres in November. |

i honestly beleive he is dead. Now the reason why i believe he is dead is because he was in the middle of a VERY intense gang rivalry which was pretty much east coast vs west coast. Simple as that. He was also extremely controversial, he was so fuckin famous (became even more famous after he died) and he was an artsy fartsy poet who had alot of repressed emotions he expressed so vividly in his lyrics... which in the end made him the controversial figure he was right before he died.
He was heavily into the makavellian theory but that just fuelled questions about whether he really did fake his death of not. If you do some research on his life before he died, the guy was miserable. He definetly wanted out of his fame because the press loved making a fool outta him with bullshit cases like raping AND sodomizing lying sluts. Maybe he wanted to disapear? Who knows. But I think in the end, his death WAS a HUGE lottery jackpot rather than a maketting stragety. Theres a quote i heard once talking about the responsibilities behind the music industry. The artists can saywhatever they want. The labels that sign and distribute the artist's music have a responsibility to market the right artists. but the greatest responsibility lies on the media. and yeah he was also backed by Suge Knight... that guy is FUCKIN CRAZY! Anyone heard of his suite at the luxor in vegas? the infamous red swimming pool of blood..... damnnnn! |
