Unexpected...

Now that i've met quite a few of you fnkers, I've gotten a chance to see how wrong my initial impressions of some of you were.

I know it's not right to judge anyone based on their posts or the image they set for themselves through a website, but I guess it's human nature for us to do so, and as much as I hate to admit I had formed opinions about some of you and it was only after meeting you that I realized how wrong I was.

Has this happened to anyone else?
hmm here are some examples (please don't hate me for this):

Hayley, I didn't think you'd be as outgoing and friendly as you were, I thought you'd be a lot more reserved and I never ever thought I'd see you wear candy.

Chet, I thought you'd be a lot more obnoxious and loud.. almost in a cocky way (sorry)

Matty (offset): My impression of you was so far off, it wasen't a bad impression I just thought you were into candy for some reason.

Filo, I thought you'd be really serious, but you have a great sense of humour and I didn't even see that coming.

Hmm on the other hand, i've met some of you that were almost exactly how i'd pictured you to be if not beyond that....

Anyways I hope I haven't offended anyone, I don't mean this thread as a personal thing, I just needed to get this off my back.

i think everyone i have met off here has been pretty much as i have expected them to be

most of the people havent gotten what they expected when they've met me.....

I think it's more of ppl being judgemental on First Impressions. I think it takes time to get to know a person before you judge them =)

Shannon, I didn't really know what to expect of you, except that I thought you'd be friendly, and you totally were, you're also really easy to talk to. But I also thought your personality would be a lot like Ashlees and I guess there are some similarities but not like i thought.

Chet, I apologize for that approach, I'm honest as it is, but i'm brutally honest when I drink...

Akeel, I thought you'd be egotistical for some reason.. I didn't think you'd be easy to talk to, when I met you at IMF you were almost completely the opposite of what I expected.

when i first started posting on here, i got all excited, and met alot of people off here...

when i did meet them, most of them were how i thought they would be. some had alot more substance than i thought, and that was a nice surprise. im sorry, i dont take rave msg board people too seriously anymore. so that was my fault.

a few people i met, discusted me, and that was shocking, they ended up being not who i thought they were at all, and it really sucked, but that was the past.

but yeah, the people i met, i sort of stopped seeing, and so i never got to hang out or get to know them as much as i wanted to, and i dont know what that happened ..damn add..anyways, i dont know what im trying to say anymore.

you seem really outgoing and charismatic, I also think you're wise beyond your years, even though sometimes people don't take the time to notice that. I have a good impression of you even though you tend to leave me hanging in msn conversations... :soak:
