I don't think it's a CAN or a CAN'T thing. what is so hard about following a recipe. I don't really get it when people easily conclude that they can't cook. What do they mean? They cannot read properly? They are klutzy? They don't understand the cooking terms?
I'm a bigger fan of baking than cooking, I don't mind cooking but I don't like cleaning up. :toasted: Plus, cooking costs a lot of money if you're planning on something other than instant food. |

I love cooking!
My dad was an amazing cook, so I think that I got some of my talents from him. My favourite things to cook are Szechuan stir-fry and fruit-filled crepes! I'm also a fan of baking, I make a killer chocolate cake =) Yoko, lots of people don't have the patience to follow a recipe properly, especially if it's complicated. And the difference between a 'pinch' and a 'dash' can be huge! heh |

if i had all the ingredients, id probly be more likely to cook, but...its such a pain, when you feel like something and you gotta go buy stuff to do it. i wish i was like my mom, and just had that kinda stuff lying around, but i dont.
today my mom told me i should learn to cook, cause maybe then id get myself a 'man' . *rolls eyes* maybe she is right, but...i find it a nnoying. now that i have more time im going to try to learn ...i have a mad craving for homemade food but i dont live near my family, so i guess ill have to do it myself? |
