straightening hair?...

yeha i know this is a girly question but im vain so bite me....

anyway ive been goriwng out my hair for awhile becasue if decided i want a longer hairstyle and i needed the bangs and sides of my hair to be longer then normal to accomplish this..as i have continued to grow my hair out ive noticed that it has become even more wavey then i originally thought it was. in order to get my hair they way that i want it i must straighten it, otherwise my hair will remain un managable and rather dorky looking.now heres the question for you ladies and men who have had you're hair straightend..how do you do it? who does it? and how much can i expect to pay?

ive pretty much ruled out straightening my hair by blow drying and that other thing that looks like a clamp because even tho my hair is long by my standards, its not nearly long enough to be straighend by those methods. So, my only alternative it seems is to chemically straighen it..which im cool with because if i damamge my hair i can just cut it really short and then everything will be fine. im just wondering what products i should use to straighten my hair, or should leave it up to a professional?..what do you think? how much should i expect to pay? money isnt really an issuse but id prefer to do it myself, so as to save multiple trips to the hair stylist

What you do is wait for your hair to semi-dry. Then pull out your mom's iron and ironing board. Lay your head down on the board, and begin to iron your hair. Make sure you iron away from your head, k? Don't wanna burn those little ears now. :hehe:

If that doesn't help... buy some straightening solution (L'Oreal) and a flat iron at London Drugs.

buy a bottle of hair straightner at any drug store...that would help a little. when i don't wear a hat, that's what i do cuz my hair is really curly naturally.
