who is your biggest inspiration/hero?
i have a few:
- Floria Sigismondi. She's a toronto-based photographer and film maker. She started off in fine art and then moved into photography and then into film. Her stuff is known for being surreal and her use of color is amazing. She does fashion photography and even directs music videos ("Beautiful People" Manson, "Fighter" Christina Aguilera, and other videos for Tricky, david bowie, etc). Her stuff always inspires me and i look up to her so much. Her book "redemption" is permanantly on my bedside table. i love her so much. - my really close friends. the people i let my guard down to...the people who really know me. they always inspire me to do things and believe in me when i don't believe in myself. -my mom. she's the strongest and smartest person i know. she never lets anyone walk all over her and she always has a solution to all my problems...i'd be lost without her. i get my attitude and bitchiness from her. and i love her for that. -s.

my parents ;)
they've been together for 30 years, and are still going strong. They started off poor, and they've worked so hard to get to where they are now. It inspires me to want that kind of a relationship with some one, and their experiences allow me to believe that hard work does pay off... It inspires me to want to succeed so that I can provide the kind of life that they have provided for us, to "the next generation". [/corny] i truly respect their philosophies on life, and the advice that they give me. Despite how fucking SPOILED I really am, my parents never allow me to forget to appreciate how blessed I really am. i have super awesome parents.

my biggest hero issssssssssss hmm i guess my best friend alicia and jordan without em i prolly would be dead right now,and my niece, my niece is my inspiration. The birth of my niece inspired me to change the way I was living my life, and she still does to this day. Shes my little angel whenever im feeling down she comes and flashes me a great big smile and says something silly and she cheers me up. TI AMO DOMENICA!!!!

my dad, hes the only one in the family that didnt show dissapointment when i decided to persue art. hes taught me to follow my heart, be compassionate, and allow things to happen. and in the past year hes shown me strength, and showed me that its ok to need someone. he has also taught me how to make beer, and that it is most important to have fun and stay young as long as possible - even if that means staying young forever - however to balance this with sensibilty and maturity.
my brother, i always wanted to be him when i was little, and in so many ways i am following in his footsteps. paul klee.... his stuff can leave me speechless at times. as does man ray. andy warhal.. well his earlier stuff inspires me big time.

Unfortunately he passed away from something at the time I had lived through, and I was really angry at the time because I thought it was so unfair that he passed away and I didn’t, but I have realized since then that sometimes bad things happen for a reason and there is nothing you can do but face it with a smile and hope for the best. Mum. For the last 8 months she has been the strongest person for me. She has spent many hours sitting by my bedside when I was sick. Many hours driving me around to doctors appointments, taking care of me as I was a young child again. And she does it full heartedly. She has been strong through my whole life, not only for myself but for my sister and the rest of my family too. She gives herself to you before she does to herself. And in connection with my dad, they have been together 27 or 28 years and have had to deal with many ups and downs and they have managed to be strong and keep things all in line. I really don’t know what I’d do without them. Especially my Mum.

My Mom for her patience and understanding... My Brother for his wisdom... My friends for their laughs and smiles... And Lex... for his ambition and love. All these people play a special part to reassure the person that I am :kimmie:

I have lots of inspiring people in my life . . . and not just people close to me. There's been some who I've had single conversations with and they've inspired me so much ~ this is why I love talking to everyone about life/life experiences, you learn so much from simply talking to others.
My Mom is number one on my list of inspiration for her strength, optimism, friendship, encouragement to do in life what makes me happy and helping me along the way in any way she can, and really everything that she is . . . she is the greatest! :) Others would be ~ my sister, dulce, kimiko, Tanya, and in many many ways Zahid

my parents 100%
my dad knows me better than any one else in the is world and he has always been a huge figure in my life. after my mom passed away of breast cancer in 89 he was all I had for the longest time till he remarried and brought the other huge roll modle in to my life who is 100% my mom and I love both of them sooo much. it's funny how some people in this world will tell you what to do and you don't have to doubt them..... (although you spend most of your child hood hating the fact that they are always right.) anyways mom, dad, and Hybrid :284: love it

hahhaha i feel awfl , lookin up to a writer .....but seriously i was thinking las night layin' in bed .....i really have never looked up to annyone well when i was little i looked up to my hooch cuzin ....but only cus she could wear make-up and i guess my mom but only in the way that i sooooo dont wanna be like her so it makes me strive to be beter when i have kidds.

my parents all the way.

my mom def. i really really hate to say it because of all tha teasing i must deal with but.......my mom's a milf. and she built a park in her backyard for her kids. not only that, but other kids parent drop there kids off without even saying hello to my mom expecting her to watch them for free. it must be hard for her to go to university while watching these kids and taking care of her garden while ripping down a wall in her kitchen to renevate her house. on top of all that my 9 yr old brother is also blind which makes things twice as hard. this summer she also installed a hottub in her backyard. yes thats right,......she does everything her self. watch for her name listed in the news paper every summer for the sun run. i'm telling you...this chick is fly

I see the word inspiration and I think about my mother
I love my Mom with everything I am She followed her instinct and took us both away from a terrible situation - she followed her heart and we ended up in Vancouver...she worked hard to give my brother and I things she never had she has words of advice in all my times of woe She could kick your ass seriously ..my momma is built i am inspired by people who overcome adversity - because we will all face it at some point in our lives and we choose what will come out of that situation
