commission sales people

This takes some talent but nowadays consumers are so stupid anyone can be good at sales ever walk into a telemarketing office and see all the middle aged life rejects and you'll know what i mean.ha ha montana jk :keebler:

There's more to commision sales than telemarketing and if you're going to be making any good money chances are you'll be dealing with very savy consumers... er well sometimes.

I have never been paid straight commission... Always been base salary + commission.

Yeah, that's what I thought. Isn't telemarketing more those individuals that call random people to make them potential "qualified prospects"?
Or to do surveys, etc.?

If I had a choice, I'd prefer cold-calling cuz these people are in a higher market to purchase.

then retail or person to person.
its takes alot of skills to sell cars or houses

Having taken and lead so much sales training, sales is so many different things.

i was just using telemarketing as an example.
The best mentality in retail sales is that "there's a sucker born every minute"you'll make alot of money if you stick with that.
what i'm also implying is that as consumers we believe what we hear most of the time?
ever get sucked into buying something you don't need?the demand for quality in today's market has increased but people's efforts to research quality hasn't.

Retail sales is EASY! -- The customers come to you! -- All you have to do is know your product/service, understand and read buying signals well and provided excellent customer service and you will do well.

I used to manage a London Drugs computer department! -- Damn did I hate Christmas rush.
