Need Help

hey guys,
i am doing a skool project and it has to be a multinational firm (large or small) that can be found in reliable media print (national post, globe and mail, ect ect....)
i have to be able to look at problems it has faced in relation to market share, cost escalation, production difficulties, ect ect....i know this is really boring...but i am stuck and am having a hard time finding a topic.....so if you have ideas..let me know....tHx ~V

For that kind of information, you are most likely going to have to select a publically traded company... Try like Microsoft or something!

pbreak is an unknown quantity at this point
^^definitely, but maybe a company that has been slumping even more over the past couple decades and is slowly starting to bring itself around would be more usefull? Most american auto manufactures come to mind - especially GM.

Also if you snowboard you might find it of a bit more interest than some topics.

Having trouble finding one?

Are there not enough multinational companies out there? *scratches head*

anyways.

How about Martha Stewart Omnimedia? It's had more than its fair share of media coverage in the last little while...While Ms. Stewart herself has had enough difficulties with the law, consumers don't seem to let it phase them..look at how Sears Canada has recently signed a multimillion dollar contract to carry her product and has started to promote the hell out of it (there was a very excellent article published about it in the Vancouver Sun's business section sometime in september..)
