Best place 2 get ur nails done..

So my grad pics are comming up and Im thinking of getting fake nails. The acrylic ones. Although I have had problems with people who do a shitty job in the past.
so I was wondering if any of you know a great place to get it done for not that much $$.

There's a Pro-Nails school on W.Broadway and Willow that has a special on fridays for Gel Nails. I think it's something like $25. Not too sure, though. Look them up in the phone book and ask. Make sure you get the school and not one of their regular locations.

you can't really see nails in grad pics...i would spend the money on getting your hair done professionally instead. i did and they did an AMAZING job. makes all the difference.

but, if you want to get your nails done anyways, i suggest gel nails instead of acrylics, cause acrylics break/chip a LOT easilier than gels do. gels are just more versatile, so you can sport them for a while after your pics are done.

I know that they wont focus in on my nails, But I think it would look better. As for getting my hair done pro, it would cost way too much so im just going to style it myself. hehe

I suggest going with gel nails too...They are not so hard on your actual nail!

yuck dont get ur nails done they look so cheap :sick: just buy nail hardener crap and grow ur nails out all nice and purdy like hyuck hyuck :) and real nails dont look cheap they make u look like classy lady! ps fake nails look bad in black light all i think when i see fake nails is LEE PRESS ON NAILS FROM THE 80`S :)

Someone I know told me of a good place on oak&49th or so.. Apparently its only $26 if you get it done on a Wednesday.

I'm planning to get my nails done before my grad photos, too. I need to find a place that I know for SURE is good... same for hair/makeup.

Yeah, I went and did that for my grad photos when I graduated, and you can't even see my nails in the picture. hahaha

Godessa, I know what you mean about fake nails looking cheap and everything, I do have long nails muself. Although my nails keep breaking, and Im thinking what happens it it breaks the day of. Ive tried the nail hardener shyt and it just makes my nails break even more so I usually dont put anything on them, makes them grow faster. And yea, so thats why Ive turned to fake nails.
I think Im gunna go with gel nails, although I heard if you wash dishes with hot water they fall off, and im not a fan of them falling off...

I don't think you have to worry about them falling of because I would wash dishes all the time sence I have no dishwasher and my nails didn't fall of until I really put and effort to getting them off!
