what kind of webcam would you recommend?

im thinking about buying one... what kind would you recommend?

ive looked through ebay and they've got pretty cheap ones but im wary of those no-name brand ones... what do you think?

a past friend bought me a logitech clicksmart310..it rocks cuz i can actually use it wireless as a "crappy digital camera".. i duno how much it cost though.. but it works really well. hmmmmm i should really look up how much it costs.

i have to comment that the color it shows on the comp is a lil wonky..and it takes a while for you to adjust, so that it loosk pure, but im sure that happens to most webcams as well.. due to different types of home lighting.

Get a new digicam that doubles as a webcam and you are set!

most webcams look like shit. if you just wanna fuck around, that's cool, you can probably pick up an old quickcam for 10 bucks.

a good webcam (640x480) will run you 60-100 bucks, and then you may as well get a digicam.

my personal opinion.

Does it matter as long as you have your thick-rimmed emo glasses and contrast way up?

Like said above, depends how much you want to spend...but, assuming that you're not buying the least expensive modem on the shelf, try and get one with 640*480 optical resolution...some of them say 640*480 but they are interpolated...which means that the camera only takes a 320*240 quality picture, and then uses software to bring the resolution up...not as good or accurate as actual optics...kind of like using glasses to bring your vision up to 20/20.
