or visit one of my friends who finished that, top in his course and now works as bag boy at the local airports paying off the 46,000 he spent on the program. How many helicopter jobs are there out there in BC, not many! :).

Sucks for him. When did he graduate and how old is he? There's lots of jobs up north, which pay well, but you live up north. But you're still flying whirly birds...

i work on hughes 500 helicopters at the langley airport....there is a helicopter training school there.....they use Ronbinson 22 i do their maintenance too.......from all the pilots that i've heard its pretty hard getting your first job and you wont be making good money unless you work in the bush......and i personally wouldnt wanna be stuck in the middle of butt fuck nowhere.....i'll just wait till i'm licensed and make my 70 grand on the ground.......plus week on week off..........

So you're apprenticing to be an engineer? that's cool, I thought about that as well. I really don't mind being up in the middle of nowhere though, it's kind of cool up north :)

yeah i'm appreticing.....to be an engineer.....yeah and i agree...if you like being in the middle of nowehere then yeah....its a good job......you can make good money being an engineer too up north......so i guess it depends on what you want right......one of the guys that worked at my company on his time off mostly during the winter was making $9000 a month......flying loggers up to certain spots........this other guy i know fly's for i think its blue river......heli sking and shit like that......and he makes a shit load too....plus he is an pilot/engineer so....when ever he's on his time off he works as an engineer and cranks in pretty good ched......but yeah if you want to do that then go for it......it will take some time but eventually you'll get a good paying job....at the beginning its always hard right......so once you get past that point....its all good.......

Prolly Mike Weigle heli skiing. I used to work for www.cmhski.com which is where I decided to become a pilot. check out Alpine Helicopetors, www.alpinehelicopters.com they are a good company, they have 18 212s, 10 206s and 5 407s.
