Insofar as "WHY I RUN LUNIX" just I prefer Bash, Multiple Desktops, Gnome > WinXP, it's free and I really don't feel like Pirating Windows Software so as to increasingly firm up Microsoft's grip on the Desktop world.

If I do ever get a Mac I'm prolly gonna forego Aqua and just run XDarwin or something like that. Either way I like having my cntrl-alt-f1 exit whenever my window manager crashes. And ssh access to my desktop computer is pretty nice. And I find commandline programs heftily convenient from time to time.

Anyways:

Desktop 1 Desktop 2
Desktop 3 Desktop 4

Mandrake 9.1 running Gnome 2.2 from a whiles ago. These days I'm running Red Hat 9.0 and the setup is pretty much the same (God bless home dir partitions...), though granted my RH box isn't connected to the interweb and as such no more recent desktops can be made available.
