Is there such thing as posting too much?

I login in the mornings just to browse. I see pages of new posts, but the last poster is always the same? I go to read their posts and its fluff. Why should I waste my time to check these irrelevant posts? Why do people insist on making them? I think the quality of a users post scales heavily on their online character. Even on their real character.

1) This is a message board. People post.... a lot. That's what its for. On top of that a lot of people don't necessarily take it all that seriously so the lack of 'serious' posts is a given. A goofy post most likely has no bearing whatsoever on a persons intelligence or character.

2) If you care to check you'll find that I, along with many others, are quite capable of having serious discussions/posts. We balance them out with the goofy ones... can't be serious all the time.

This message board is a way to pass the time... for some its nothing more, nothing less....

Some message boards are so full of serious content that I don't feel like reading them. FnK is sometimes so full of "fluff" as you call that I go else where. Sometimes though it's just right. Moral of the storey? In this case do what ever best suits your needs.

*sigh* I guess this board will never shake the raver it will always have. I mean, it was built by ravers for sakes. Don't get me wrong, I love some of the stuff on this site, great reads. Even some of the fluffy stuff is a hoot. But majority rules, to struggle to find a good read is very dissapointing.
