i say buy a board, cause guarenteed you'll like it.
if you rent your board and go 5 times you'd probably already have spent the equivilent to a decent board anyways, and once you get past the beginner stage you're gonna wanna go multiple times more. rent once, if you have to, but you're gonna love it so much! :) |

Get a pass for hemlock, I used to work there, and have had a pass for a few years. I used to live in Abby so I was closer and probably won't be getting one this year. But apparently they are only $189 dollars until nov 9th, and $219 until december 15th! The drive up is shitty, you can only do it in a 4x4 or car with snow tires. But it's usually worth it, they get really good snow. Check it out: www.hemlockvalleyresort.com Compared to Whistler's seasons pass which is $1639 I'd say it's a wicked deal. Of course Whistler is one of the top mountains in the world, and has way way more runs but still. |
